EUROPEAN AQUATIC & EMERSED CONTEST
EAEC, European Aquatic & Emersed Contest, is born with the sole purpose to re-engage people with nature.
The goal of this contest is to elevate the creation of natural aquascapes and landscapes to a new art form. This contest evaluates the artistic vision applied in the creation of living natural scenes to connect people with nature. Artworks will be evaluated primarily for their beauty and emotional power to re-link people with nature as a response to our ancient human need to connect with nature.
The participants submit their works taken in the current year and submitted works are evaluated by judges from different fields. As a new form of art, each refereeing criterion will be evaluated by renowned professionals who are well-versed in the field.
This contest has 2 categories and 260 awards with total value of +15.000€:
-
Aquatic-The aquarium contest category with 130 awards, only the underwater world will be evaluated.
-
Emersed- The emersed category with 130 awards. Emersed refers to the two worlds- aquatic and terrestrial- combined in any form: terrariums, paludariums, ripariums, wabi-kusa, neo glass shallow tanks...
This contest aims to challenge participants to create living nature art pieces that re-engage and re-link the viewers with nature.
Nature art creates a deep, emotional, and seamless bond between the viewer and nature. A bond to safeguard nature and mankind, as it rebuilds our inseparable relationship, evolution and future.
